Armchair Design Inspired by Hector Julio Paride Bernabe's Bahian Lifestyle

The project lasted three months and was carried out in Sao Marcos, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The research for the design focused on the processes of cutting and folding of solid wood and less apparent fixation systems. The challenge was to be able to make the turns without breaking the fragile fold points.

The armchair measures 935mm in width, 900mm in depth, and 1000mm in height. It is big enough to work alone in a room, making it a statement piece in any setting. The main materials used in the design are Brazilian solid wood and natural linen, adding to its aesthetic appeal and comfort.
